Ruby and diamond Mappin and Webb circular cluster earrings, 18ct yellow gold mounts

A very neat pair of circular ruby and diamond cluster stud earrings, originally made and sold by Mappin & Webb in London. The circular cut ruby is held in a neat four claw setting, and surrounded by eight modern brilliant cut diamonds all in a neat rub over smooth setting. The mounting is all in 18ct yellow gold and secured with traditional post and butterfly fittings. 16 Diamonds = 0.25cts approx.
