Mateksys GNSS & Compass M10Q-5883 (Discontinued) Mateksys GNSS & Compass M10Q-5883 is a GNSS Antenna and Compass Module. It integrates a positioned Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver and digital compass for positioning and directional navigation. The module supports a variety of satellite navigation systems, including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo, capable of providing highly accurate positioning information. It determines the receiver’s location coordinates by receiving signals from the satellite and calculating the time difference between the receiver and the satellite . In addition, the Mateksys GNSS & Compass M10Q-5883 is also equipped with a digital compass that can provide geographic direction information. It uses a magnetic sensor to measure the Earth’s magnetic field and converts the data into an orientation value to indicate the device’s presentation. The module has a compact design and a high-precision receiver, and is suitable for applications requiring precise positioning and navigation functions such as drones, robots, and model aircraft. It can communicate with the main controller or flight control system through serial port or I2C interface. Bridging the “RST” pad to the Ground for at least 100 ms will trigger a cold start. RESET will delete all information and trigger a cold start. It should only be used as a recovery option. If you are sure wiring and setup are all right. but the flight controller can’t detect the GNSS module(grey GPS icon), try doing the reset. The scratches on the ceramic antenna are the result of tuning the antenna.
